Celebrity Cruises will redeploy Celebrity Apex to Southampton for a second consecutive summer season in 2025. The vessel, part of the Edge Series, will operate a variety of European itineraries including calls to Northern Europe, the Canary Islands, Portugal, and Ibiza. Notably, this season will feature Celebrity Cruises’ first-ever Presidents’ Cruise in the Norwegian Fjords.
Sailings commenced Sunday, April 13, with an 11-night voyage to the Canary Islands and Portugal. Ports of call include Lisbon, known for its historical architecture and patterned pavements, and Gran Canaria, noted for its varied topography, beaches, and volcanic landscapes.
Launched as the second vessel in the Edge Series, Celebrity Apex incorporates an outward-facing design concept and contemporary structural elements that aim to enhance the onboard experience. Key architectural features include the Magic Carpet, a cantilevered venue for dining and observation; The Retreat, an exclusive suite area with a private sundeck, lounge, and restaurant; and the Infinite Veranda staterooms that expand usable cabin space.
The 2025 season will also include the annual President’s Cruise, departing May 17, offering a 7-night voyage through the Norwegian Fjords. This sailing will be attended by members of Celebrity Cruises’ executive leadership and includes onboard culinary programming with Chef Daniel Boulud, the brand’s Global Culinary Ambassador. Additional features of this sailing include bespoke shore excursions and exclusive entertainment.
Dining options aboard Celebrity Apex span 29 venues, including Fine Cut Steakhouse, Raw on 5, and Eden, each offering internationally inspired cuisine and specialty service. Accommodations also include two-story Edge Villas with private terraces and plunge pools, along with public areas such as the Rooftop Garden.
Entertainment programming includes three original productions in The Theatre: Rockumentary, Tree of Life, and Crystallize, blending live music, choreography, and acrobatics. Additional offerings include cabaret performances in The Club and themed onboard events.
