A range of new cruise ships will enter service in 2025:

Mein Schiff Relax

Inaugural Cruise: March 16, 2025

Built by the Fincantieri shipyard in Monfalcone, Italy, the LNG-powered vessel is the first in a new series of vessels by TUI. Following the Mein Schiff 7, which entered service for TUI Cruises earlier in 2024, the Mein Schiff Relax is scheduled to debut in Spring 2025.

World America
Cruise Line: MSC Cruises

The liquefied natural gas-powered ship will be officially named in Miami on April 9, 2025, representing a significant evolution of MSC Cruises’ World Class prototype.

Aqua
Cruise Line: Norwegian

Inaugural Cruise: March 28, 2025

The new Norwegian Aqua is the third ship in the Prima class, but it has been upsized from the Prima and Viva. Before starting its maiden season in North America, the vessel will offer a seven-night trans-Atlantic crossing to Boston.

Originally ordered in 2021, the new ship is scheduled to enter service ahead of the 2025 summer cruise season. The ship is custom-designed to serve the Japanese cruise market.

Being the second ship in Royal Caribbean’s Icon Class, the LNG-powered vessel is scheduled to enter service in August 2025. The ship will offer a series of seven-night cruises departing from Port Canaveral, Florida.

Cruise Line: Oceania

Inaugural Cruise: July 18, 2025

The Allura will enter service from Trieste, Italy. After its summer season in the Mediterranean, the Allura will sail to Canada and New England for a series of voyages in North America.

Viking Vesta

The Viking Vesta will offer a mix of itineraries in the Mediterranean and Northern Europe. These sail to the Greek Islands, the Adriatic Sea, the Italian Riviera and Iceland.

Inaugural Cruise: July 31, 2025

The Luminara will join sister-ship the Ilma and the Evrima, the company’s first yacht sailing since October 2022. The ship will offer 10 new itineraries between December 2025 and May 2026.

Inaugural Cruise: Oct. 4, 2025

The Star Princess will be the second-largest ship ever built in Italy and the second LNG-powered cruise ship that Fincantieri is building for Princess. It’s also the second dual-fuel ship primarily powered by LNG to join Princess’ fleet.

Inaugural Cruise: Dec. 2, 2025

The new ship will debut in the South Pacific in late 2025 and will then arrive in Europe in late April for itineraries to the Mediterranean, the British Isles and Western Europe.

Four Seasons I

The Four Seasons I is the first vessel for Four Seasons Yachts and will be delivered at the end of 2025 and set sail early 2026. The vessel is equipped with the latest environmental protection technologies.

Cruise Line: Celebrity

Inaugural Cruise: Nov. 18, 2025

The Xcel is the fifth edition in Celebrity’s Edge series and will enter service in the fall of 2025. Featuring the company’s first tri-fuel-capable engine, the vessel is to make its debut in late 2025. The ship’s inaugural season includes seven-night itineraries that depart from Fort Lauderdale.

Star Seeker
Cruise Line: Windstar

Inaugural Cruise: Dec. 28, 2025

The Star Seeker is the first Star Class newbuild for Windstar Cruises. The vessel’s maiden voyage departs from Málaga, Spain and will end in Miami on Jan. 13, 2026, for the christening ceremony. The Star Seeker is equipped with the latest technology to minimize its environmental footprint.

The Disney Adventure will debut in Singapore in 2025 as the first Disney ship to homeport in Asia. The Asia-bound ship will introduce a new design, making it into “both a journey and a destination.”

The LNG-powered vessel’s inaugural season is to set sail from Port Everglades for a four-night voyage to the Bahamas. The Disney Destiny will be the third in a series of ships that also include the 2022-built Disney Wish and the 2024-built Disney Treasure.

The American Patriot will be the fifth vessel in American’s Project Blue series of 12 new small ships for the U.S. market. It is set to debut in June with a series of cruises in the New England region.

The American Pioneer will be the sixth edition to American’s Project Blue series. The vessel will offer itineraries along the Florida Coast and the Florida Keys. During its maiden voyage, it will sail from Jacksonville to St. Petersburg, offering a 14-night cruisee.
