Regent Unveils New Entertainment Productions – Cruise Industry News
Regent Seven Seas Cruises has announced a new lineup of onboard entertainment offerings debuting across its fleet throughout 2025.
According to a press release, the new program features six high-energy performances, immersive storytelling and innovative concepts.
The new shows have been curated following guest feedback and exemplify Regent’s commitment to delivering luxury experiences, the company said.
“Along with beautifully designed ships, exquisite cuisine, immersive exploration and heartfelt hospitality, world-class entertainment is a key element of the Regent Seven Seas Cruises experience,” said Jason Montague, incoming chief luxury officer, Regent Seven Seas Cruises.
“With our new lineup of shows, we continue to push the boundaries of luxury cruising by offering our guests fresh, innovative and exhilarating performances that cater to their refined tastes and elevate the overall vacation experience,” he added.
According to the company, the upcoming productions build on a legacy of onboard entertainment, offering fresh creativity and a modern approach that blends iconic music, dance and interactivity.
The shows range from homages to legendary female rock artists and British pop acts to celebrations of Motown and 1940s big band, as well as a brand-new music trivia game show concept and more.
Under the artistic direction of Kai Alan Carrier, director creative, shows and experiences, Regent’s entertainment strategy is said to combine expert choreography, captivating storytelling and state-of-the-art production values.
With over 25 years of experience, Carrier has crafted a mix of new performances aimed at resonating with Regent’s guests.
“We wanted to create shows that honor beloved musical eras while adding a contemporary twist,” he explained.
“Each production has been designed to celebrate artistry, engage the audience, and deliver unforgettable moments. They perfectly complement the already exceptional raft of shows currently performed on board,” Carrier added.
According to Montague, Regent asked guests what it was they wanted to see onboard before coming up with the new entertainment lineup.
“These productions reflect our commitment to staying at the forefront of ultra luxury travel. We pride ourselves on constantly improving our product and providing experiences that resonate with the sophisticated and discerning guests we are honored to serve,” he added.
The lineup includes a music trivia experience debuting onboard the Seven Seas Splendor in January, as well as a tribute to legendary female rock artists coming to the Seven Seas Grandeur in May.
A Motown-inspired production is scheduled to debut onboard the Seven Seas Voyager in July, while a show themed after underground dance clubs of the 1940s comes to the Seven Seas Explorer in August.
Debuting in December, other productions include a tribute to British bands onboard the Seven Seas Navigator and a journey through soft rock and pop hits of the 1970s and 1980s on the Seven Seas Mariner.
