Windstar Cruises Announces New Commercial Team Leadership – Cruise Industry News
Windstar Cruises has appointed Victor Valencia as Vice President of Revenue Management to support the company’s growth with the addition of two new ships.
He will oversee strategic growth, revenue, pricing and the optimization of profitable growth using data science and analytics. Valencia previously held leadership roles at Amazon, DSV Logistics, Royal Caribbean, and American Express. He will be based at Windstar’s global headquarters in Miami, FL.

His impressive background in revenue optimization, finance, and data-driven strategy—shaped by leadership roles at innovative companies like Amazon, DSV Logistics, and Royal Caribbean Group—aligns perfectly with our vision for profitable growth,” said Windstar’s Chief Commercial Officer, Janet Bava. “Victor’s expertise in leveraging technology, strategic pricing, and financial optimization will be instrumental in delivering long-term, sustainable growth for Windstar.”
William “Kam” Kammerman joins the team as strategic business development Manager for Host Agencies. Kammerman will manage and enhance relationships with host agencies, focusing on driving sales growth and providing training. He previously worked at MSC Cruises and Norwegian Cruise Lines and is based in St. Petersburg, FL.
Michelle Pharr has been appointed regional sales manager for the South Central Region. With 14 years of industry experience, Pharr will oversee travel advisor partnerships in Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and surrounding states. She most recently worked at Royal Caribbean and Palace Resorts. Pharr is based in Texas.
“Kam and Michelle both have outstanding skill sets in the travel trade sector, and with direct experience in the cruise industry, they are positioned to quickly make a positive impact on Windstar’s support for the trade side of our business,” said Joe Jiffo, Windstar’s director of sales.
