AIDA Cruises Opens 2026/27 World Cruise Bookings – Cruise Industry News

AIDA Cruises has announced that it has opened bookings for its 2026/27 world cruise onboard the AIDAsol.

In a press release, the company said it is launching a cruise focusing on the southern hemisphere.

The AIDAsol will depart from Hamburg and sail to South America, with a highlight being a visit to the Amazon. The ship then moves to Australia, the Indian Ocean and South Africa, before coming back to Hamburg.

Sailing between Oct. 18, 2026 and Feb. 21, 2027, the cruise will visit 20 countries and 43 ports over 126 days.

There are two equator crossings and other highlights include passage of the Cape of Good Hope and Cape Horn.

In addition to Santarém, the cruise also visits Boca da Valeria, Tahiti, Tonga, Fiji and Aitutaki. The Cook Islands will feature on the itinerary for the first time.

Destinations include Copacabana Beach, Sugarloaf Mountain, Buenos Aires, Tierra del Fuego and Ushuaia. Also included are the Avenue of Glaciers in Chile and Easter Island. Australia is on the itinerary with six stops.

Highlights include world tour guests welcoming the New Year with a fireworks display in Sydney and South Africa, featuring Cape Town’s Table Mountain, the district of Woodstock and the safari from Port Elizabeth.

Bookings for the 2026/27 world cruise will start on Jan. 23, 2025, at 11 a.m.
