Minimal Impact Cruises is set to offer five English-speaking cruises onboard Selar’s first ship, the Captain Arctic.Currently under construction, the 36-guest vessel is set to enter service in the Arctic in late 2026 as the industry’s first expedition vessel powered by wind and solar energy.According to a press release, Minimal Impact Cruises is cooperating with Southern Sea Ventures for the international sailings, which begin in November 2026. AIDA Cruises donated more than 4,400 pieces of furniture from the AIDAdiva to Der Hafen Hilft! after its drydock at the Chantier Naval shipyard in Marseille.
