Fred. Olsen: Record Sales Following 2026 Program Launch – Cruise Industry News
Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines announced that it saw a record-breaking day of sales following the launch of its fall/winter 2026 program and new pricing.
Geoff Ridgeon, head of sales at Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, said: “This day of record-breaking sales is a testament to all of the hard work and commitment of our teams here at Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines to deliver a package and product that is of real value to our guests.”
“Not only have our teams curated an exceptional program of sailing for fall/winter 2026, but we have listened to feedback from both our guests and agents to make our pricing simpler, clearer and more inclusive, to offer better value for money than ever,” added Ridgeon.
“I’d like to thank our trade partners for really getting behind this launch and for making it such a great success. We look forward to welcoming your customers onboard for an exciting program of sailing in 2026 and beyond.”
The company said in a press release that its revised pricing strategy will see guests benefit from full board dining, selected drinks at lunch and dinner, gratuities and more, all included in the upfront cruise fare.
The pricing follows from its Freedom Fare Price Promise, announced last year.
Fred. Olsen added that it also unveiled more than 30 new voyages, sailing to the Mediterranean, the French Riviera and the Caribbean, early last week.
The program launched on Tuesday and saw sales surge by 7 percent based on its previous best-performing day post-pandemic.
According to the press release, popular itineraries included the cruise lines’ Fleet Fiesta sailings, which will see Fred. Olsen’s three smaller-sized ships come together in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, next December, as well as the Captain’s Mystery Cruise.
