Mitsui Ocean Announces 2025-26 Cruises – Cruise Industry News

Mitsui Ocean Cruises recently announced its deployment plans for the second half of 2025 and early 2026.

According to a statement, the Japan-based cruise line will offer 93 new cruises onboard two ships, the Mitsui Ocean Fuji and the Nippon Maru.

After joining the company’s fleet in late 2024, the Mitsui Ocean Fuji will offer 52 new cruises between July 2025 and June 2026.

Sailing from various ports around Japan, all of the ship’s itineraries will include a visit to to a foreign port, Mitsui said.

The deployment is highlighted by a 40-day cruise to Hawaii, which will include visits to four islands in the U.S. archipelago, as well as a destination-intensive itinerary to Taiwan.

For the New Year’s holiday, the Mitsui Ocean Fuji is scheduled to offer an exclusive ten-night cruise to Guam and Saipan, Mitsui added.

Another highlight of the cruise schedule is an increase in the number of departure ports around Japan, allowing guests from different regions of the country to easily embark on the ship.

The Nippon Maru will offer 41 sailings between July 2025 and January 2026.

According to the company, the ship’s schedule includes one- to two-night short cruises, in addition to longer sailings.

Celebrating its 35th year of service in 2025, the Nippon Maru is also scheduled to offer a commemorative two-night cruise in September.

The “Nippon Maru 35 – Happy Anniversary” cruise will sail from Yokohama and will include a special gala dinner, as well as other celebratory events.

Other highlights of the program include the company’s first visit to Himeshima Village in Oita Prefecture in July, as well as maiden calls at Aguni Island and Hateruma Island.

According to Mitsui, bookings for the new itineraries onboard both ships are set to open on Mar. 11, 2025.
