Riviera: Upcoming 2026 Culinary-Focused Itineraries, Seine River Voyage – Cruise Industry Update

Riviera Travel has expanded its 2026 offerings with a new festive river cruise and three new themed itineraries.

“For four decades, Riviera has led the industry in immersive travel, creating unforgettable journeys through expertly crafted itineraries,” said Stuart Milan, Riviera’s president of North America.

“Our expanded 2026 portfolio offers unmatched experiences that showcase the beauty of Europe during the holiday season while providing travelers who have a taste for the finest global food and wine a unique new way to explore Europe’s legendary river destinations,” added Milan.

The company said in a press release that festive sailings are available along the Seine, Rhine and Danube, featuring visits to Christmas markets.

Among the new offerings is the “Magical Paris & Festive Seine River Cruise,” a five-day voyage aboard MS Jane Austen, departing round-trip from Paris.

This itinerary features visits to historic country estates, Bizy Castle tours and three French châteaux explorations.

Highlights include a private evening organ concert at Vernon Cathedral and Christmas markets in Paris. The new itinerary will sail exclusively in December 2026, and pricing starts at $1,749 per person.

Riviera Travel said it is also now offering an expanded collection of gastronomy-themed cruises focusing on European culinary experiences.

The following itineraries are now available to book for 2026:

“Gastronomy of the Danube”

The eight-day itinerary sails through Hungary, Slovakia and Austria and features 15 land experiences. Highlights include Schönbrunn Palace, Wachau Valley and Budapest markets.

Pricing starts at $3,399 per person, and the cruise departs on multiple dates between April and October 2026.

“Gastronomy of the Rhine and Moselle”

The eight-day itinerary features 11 included experiences focusing on the history and culture of Germany.

Highlights include food tastings in Bernkastel, Rudesheim and the Koblenz Wine and Sparkling Wine Museum. Pricing starts at $3,649 per person, and departures are between April and August 2026.

“Gastronomy of the Seine”

The eight-day itinerary focuses on Normandy’s culinary delights, featuring 13 experiences in destinations such as Paris and Chateau de Bizy. There will also be a cooking demonstration onboard.

Pricing starts at $2,799 per person, and the cruise departs on multiple dates between April and October 2026.
