Riviera Set to Launch in Australia, New Zealand, and the South Pacific
Oceania Cruises announced that the Riviera will sail its first-ever Australia and New Zealand season of voyages this year and will be the company’s only ship in the region to offer itineraries with a gourmet foodie focus.
The company said in a press release that the season will run from November 2025 to March 2026, featuring itineraries ranging from 14 to 35 days and departures from multiple ports. Itineraries offer the addition of a pre- or post-cruise land program.
“We are incredibly excited to bring the Riviera to Australia and New Zealand for the first time,” said Jason Montague, chief luxury officer at Oceania Cruises.
According to the press release, the Riviera features The Culinary Center, a state-of-the-art cooking school at sea. The culinary team has introduced a new class, the “Down Under Abundance,” for this year, designed to showcase local foodie highlights.
The ship also features the Artist Loft and social activities such as mini golf, digital classes, a fitness center and spa services.
