Windstar Cruises Opens Bookings for New-Build’s First Year

Small-ship enthusiasts can now book Windstar Cruises’ newest ship, Star Seeker, after the line opened for sale her inaugural seasons in the Caribbean, Alaska, and Japan. The Star Plus-class ship, under construction at the WestSEA shipyard in Portugal, will debut in December 2025. The ship is scheduled to sail her maiden voyage on December 28, 2025 from Malaga, Spain, to PortMiami. Port calls on the transatlantic crossing include Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Canary Islands, where she will celebrate New Year’s Eve. Ritz-Carlton’s Second Luxury Vessel Debuts in Monte Carlo

Ilma, the second “superyacht” from the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, officially entered service on September 2, 2024 with a 7-night journey from Monte Carlo, Monaco, to Rome, a fitting maiden voyage for an ultra-luxe ship. The vessel, built at the French shipyard Chantiers de l’Atlantique, follows Ritz-Carlton’s first superyacht, Evrima, which launched in 2021. Although she debuted second, Ilma actually is a big sister to Evrima, with 11 decks and 46,750-gross tons to Evrima’s 8 decks and 25,400-gross tons. First Ultra-Premium Cruise Line to Offer Sailings from Tampa, Florida

Oceania Cruises is opening up new horizons with its newly announced Caribbean and Panama Canal sailings from Port Tampa Bay. This marks the first time an ultra-premium cruise line will set sail from the port, located on the Gulf Coast of Florida.
