Victory Cruise Lines has announced the godmothers for the Victory I and the Victory II.

The company said in a press release that the godmothers have a close family connection. Chairman John Waggoner and wife Claudette’s daughter Emily Coleman will be the godmother of the Victory I, and the Victory II’s godmother will be their oldest granddaughter, Molly Applegate.

According to the press release, John and Claudette will host a special New England & Canada 2025 Reunion Cruise from Portland to Toronto, departing April 16, 2025.

The 10-night cruise through the St. Lawrence Seaway and Canadian Maritimes will reunite friends from past voyages and feature notable guest entertainers.

The Victory I will be christened in Toronto on April 27, 2025, followed by a nine-night maiden Great Lakes voyage to Chicago.

The Victory II will be christened on May 12, 2025, at Chicago’s Navy Pier, before setting sail to Toronto and calling on all five Great Lakes.

The Victory II Chicago festivities will include a Mother’s Day brunch hosted by the Waggoner godmothers.
